The Teens of Madison County (TMC) participated in a pilot project at Marshall Native Gardens. With instruction from Christopher Mello (MNGI’s Youth Education Coordinator) they made clay artworks from nature themes and from objects taken from the gardens. It was a very creative and fun day for the Teens/TMC and the art pieces they made and are keeping will be nice mememtos of this class.
This pilot project is being funded by a Rotary grant and will involve numerous participating local groups (includes Teens of Madison County, Changing Hearts Boarding School, Madison Health and Rehabilitation, and MNG volunteers).
