Rotarians visiting from Nigeria as part of a Rotary International Friendship Exchange program, spent time at the Butterfly Garden at the Marshall Library on November 2nd.  Abu and Shay are shown here with Connie Molland, the Rotary Club of Madison County guide. They enjoyed seeing the Peace Pole located in the Butterfly Gardens which features hand-painted  bugs and critters along with the Rotary logo.  Additionally, they took time to sit on the butterfly bench and enjoy the views at this popular garden.

Rotary hopes that having seen our Peace Pole, that they will take the concept back to Nigeria to install some peace poles of their own.

Our local Rotary Club is a great supporter of the Native Gardens and has championed our themed Bird Garden for many years. Thanks Rotary!

We invite you to visit and enjoy the Bird Garden & Butterfly Gardens or any of the other 11 themed gardens.
