Wow; We had 25 volunteers onsite this past Saturday working hard to rough in most of a new walking trail through the Woodland Shade Garden. A dozen volunteers from the Carolina Mountain Trail Club lead the efforts and a number of volunteers from the Teens of Madison County joined our MNGI volunteers!

We almost completed the work with only about 6 steps needing to be added to reopen our trail for the public visitors to use. The work was rewarding and the garden party that followed was special. Thanks to all who made this event such a success!

Our next opportunity to finish the trail will be on the morning of Saturday, October 18th. Come then to join us for some more fun!
